Federal ID Schedule A: member-state codes
The two-digit code at the start of every Federal ID. Codes 01 to 55 are member states in alphabetical order, 56 is Pan-African institutions, and 90 to 99 are diaspora regions.
A Federal ID is FA-SS-NNNNNNNN: SS is the code below, NNNNNNNN is the person's eight-digit serial within that state. OFIS is the source of truth for this schedule; partners should mirror it from the public endpoint GET /api/v1/states/ rather than hard-code it. This table was captured from that endpoint on 2026-11-02 and lists 66 entries.
